This pitcher stands 6 3/4 in. tall. It measures over 6 3/4 in. from edge of handle to tip of spout. In very good condition. I find only 2 very tiny chips on the inside rim near the spout as shown in image. From the research I have done on the net I believe it was produced about 1860's. Purchase from an estate sale and the owner said it was her Grandmothers. Very little use, if any. I understand it is called a Bennington hunt scene with a hunter, rifle? animals in the forefront.Lovely mottled brown and tan glaze. I have tried to show close ups, I'm not an experienced photographer with a digital, but perhaps it will give you an idea of what I'm talking about. E-mail questions, I will try to be helpful.
