View Larger Image   Art Deco French Lady Color Print 1936 Beautifully Framed   Description: Offering this beautiful 1936 color print of a young French lady, all dressed for the gala, looking a little preturbed, fanning herself, maybe her date was late arriving? Excellent colors and details, an almost watercolor effect. Set in double ivory matting; gold finished wood frame with raised leaf designs all around. Protective glass covering and wire hanger on back. Overall measures 21 1/2" x 17 1/2", engraving as viewed is 12 1/2" x 9 1/2". Print was acquired from the French art magazine L'Illustration, dated Decembre 5 1936, Paris. Fine condition on engraving, no holes, tears, or stains, frame is new. the faint line seen in the first photo is just a reflection, not on the print.
