I have a similar Waffle Iron. I don't have the model number, but instead of one large retangular cooking surface, mine has two seprate ones. A double! The iron was completely cleaned and re-wired about 10 years ago and is in very good physical condition and excellent working order. When using this iron, I have to put it on a baking sheet to insulate it from the counter top. The iron gets very hot and with the short legs the heat generated will damage anything short of a stone / tile surface. I use a little extra cooking oil in my pancake recipe to keep the waffles from sticking, but this goes for any of the irons I have. Remember to whip the egg whites and add them last.
