View Larger Image   Antique Nut Cracker Ornate Handles   Description: This is a very nice, clean antique all metal nut cracker with fancy, ornate turned design on the handles. The only mark on the center plate is "PATENTED" but no number or date given. This design allow for the handles that each have a pivot point to swing into two different positions, one for larger nuts, and the other for smaller. The pivot pins and handles are in great shape, so this feature works great. The handles are 4.8" long from the pivot to the end. There is a zig-zag design on the section of the handles that cracks the nut, most likely to give better grip on the nut shell being cracked. The nickel plating is about 50% intact, evenly worn off for the most part. No rust, no damage, works good!
