The axel is the only part that will take a magnet so are of cast iron. I believe this fantastic toy is from the early 1900's era, judging by the date of other items that were with it in an estate I acquired. In good displayable condition this camel with rider stands 5 in. tall. It is 3.5 in. long and 3 in. wide.
