1/6 plate ambrotype of a bearded African American man. The image is BROKEN as shown. It is a clear glass ambrotype with a second, unbroken piece of ruby glass behind it. It comes in a full case. The cracks are stable and I believe the pieces will stay in place as long as the image remains cased.
