1883 Vintage Ropers Engineer's Handy Book Leather Steam Engine W/ Illistrations For Sale

Published in 1883, this leather-bound book is authored by Stephen Roper and features many beautifully done illustrations. The book is well worn (leather is brittle as well as binding shows use) but pages are in great condition with amazing illustrations.

The book was published by E Claxton & Company in Philadelphia USA. It contains writings on the inside covers from previous NYC owner. The binding is leather with heavy wear/use damage. Binding is coming apart but all pages are still intact. (See photos)  Amazing piece of work. Book measures 7" by 5".
