We are offering \"La Hollande Pittoresque\", a book of photographic prints of Holland, including Volendam, Marken and Zeeland. By F. B. den Boer, Middelburg, Holland [Photographer]. Circa 1910. (8 1/2 x 12) May have been created to appeal to French tourists, as the title is in French.Consisting of 14 photos, printed on single-sided plates, separated with protective tissue paper, of cute little girls and boys in traditional Dutch clothing with their parents in domestic scenes - doing chores, men fishing in the rivers, walking through quaint villages and by the sea, all bound together with fringed cord.
Also, there are 18 very nice postcards that were tipped in on the back side of some of the plates.CONDITION: Photo prints & postcards are Excellent. Covers show handling wear and some soiling. A small edge tear on the front cover was repaired with acid-free archival mending tape.
