1934 CHICAGO WORLDS FAIR FOOTED METAL SOUVENIR BOWL SILVER COLOR N. SHURE CO.

This footed silver color souvenir bowl was part of our huge Worlds Fair and Exposition Collection. We mostly collected 1933/34 and 1939/40 items but also have many pieces from much earlier to much later Fairs. We offered the entire collection as a buy it now on with no takers and have since been selling it piece by piece. My husband, seller named Jal12147 and I will be listing pieces till it’s gone.

This footed bowl has a thin silver-color plating with scenes of the fair on it. It’s currently darkened with age. The bowl is 5-3/4” in diameter with a filigree, openwork edge and has scenes of the fair in the center. It sits 2” high and the footed base is 2-1/2” across. Depicted on the center of the bowl are the Hall of Science, the Federal Building and the Travel & Transport Building. “Worlds Fair Chicago” is across the top. The back is marked “Made in Japan” on one side and “Model 34A31 N. Shure Co. Importers Chicago” on the other. This is in very good condition with no dings, dents or breaks.
