• Theillustration at the center shows a Minuteman above a scroll reading:\"Buy War Savings Bonds and Stamps.\"
• This map opens to 18\" x 24\" and has greatdetail on old highway alignments and route numbers, with cartography byH.M. Gousha.
• The map was distributed by the Tide Water Associated Oil Company in1942 to promote its Tydol Flying A gasoline and Veedol motor oil. It isdated by the code number in the lower margin: P-2. Populationdata isfrom the 1940 census.
• There\'s a road map of metropolitan New York, between Morristown, New Jerseyand Bay Shore, Long Island, on the reverse side.
• A panel map gives good detail on the area between Newark and Jersey City, including the General Pulaski Skyway and the Holland Vehicular Tunnel.
