This a very unique Mid Century artwork depicting our Holy Mother, The Virgin Mary. It consists of 3 hand painted tiles mounted to a wooden frame. The frame measures 20 inches high x 8 1/4 wide. Each tile is approximately 6 x 6 inches . It is signed by the artist B Federici.
Overall condition is good frame is intact with some minor blemishes and scratches. Tile #2 has an 1 1/2 in crack on the left bottom side. Tile #3 has a 4 in crack across her robe and gown. Please see photos. They may have cracked while being fired.
Or mother is shown in beautiful colors of blue and pink with intricate gold embellishment on the trim of her gown. Pearl luminous tones are present.
This depiction embraces her strength and power over evil with her right foot crushing the head of the snake (satan).
