• Excellent condition!
• There is one very tiny imperfection/discoloration on each of the tureen's bottom part of the handle, and two very tiny imperfections/discoloration on the bottom side of the ladle (see the last three pictures).
• None of these small imperfections can be seen without turning the tureen upside down as well as the ladle.
• The lighting from taking photographs reflects onto the tureen and looks like white spots, but they are simply light reflections.
• Ironstone is a type of stoneware pottery that is known for its durability and timeless look. It is made from Cornwall clay, feldspar, iron slag, and a small amount of cobalt, and is baked at very high temperatures. Ironstone is porous and glazed.

The tureen measures 7.75 inches in height (without lid) and 11.5 inches in height (with lid on), 10 inches in width (without tureen handles) and 12 inches in width (including handles), and 9 inches in diameter (inside the tureen). The heavy, microwave and dishwasher safe set has a semi-glossy finish and is made of ironstone material. The soup tureen is an original piece, comes unboxed, and has the franchise of American Atelier. This rare and hard-to-find piece is perfect for food and dining, entertaining, family, and soup themes. Care instructions recommend washing it by hand, although it is dishwasher safe.
