Antique E&F Horster Solingen (Germany) sword without sheath with amazing brass eagle hilt. From the research I have done (thanks to lots of input from knowledgeable patrons) it appears this is an early 1900's Italian Air Force officers sword that could be attributed to either WWI or WWII. This sword was found in the basement of a house located in Rolla Missouri and was part of an estate sale. Tang stamp is E&F Horster Solingen, which was established in 1850. Looks to be an officers sword as it is 30.5 inches in length. Does not come with scabbard.
