This is an antique spirit flask made from hand blown Nailsea glass. The main body of the glass is clear and colourless and has an opaque white striped pattern combed through. It has a pontil mark on the bottom but does not stand up on its base.
These bottles were never made to stand up.In collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear. No chips or cracks in the glass from what I can see. There are some small splits or something on the surface which is from the manufacturing process on the day it was made.
Pleasesee pictures for more details and visual confirmation of condition. I have dimmed the photos to try and show the bottle in as much detail as possible since it is a very light colour. It measures approx. 8.5 inches x 4 inches x 2 and 1/2 inches.
On the cusp of Georgian - Victorian period. My stock ref: in free blown and wine bottle cabinet.
