Condition: Rustic, primitive, western, handmade advertising wooden box with original nails on this pre-owned, very used, distressed square box made by & labeled: W.E.GARRETT & SONS--SCOTCH SNUFF, ESTABLISHED 1782, PHILADELPHIA. Handmade nails on this little square wooden crate with slats across bottom and very worn but solid, secure side boards intact. It is so smooth along the upper edges and even where some of wood has split off through the years! I can only imagine this being thrown into an old covered wagon for across country trip across the country-for delivery into some old town out West! A must for the collector of fine rustic, Western relique pieces or advertising, or even a cool piece for the pool room, man-cave or historical lover!
