Atlas Chicago Prager Beer Primitive Wooded Beer Crate RARE 32 Ounce Bottles For Sale

Recent rural Virginia estate find. Offering a rare Atlas Prager Beer wooden crate. Most that you find were made for 24 - 12 ounce bottles, this one held 12 - 32 ounce or quart-sized bottles. As expected, very primitive design and construction, but considering purpose, use, and material, still in excellent overall condition. Six graphic painted sides (four outside and two inside the box). The color is very good and still legible. The one end panel looks as if there was some paint or a faded white scuff. Some aging, light stains, and wear to the wood, but everything is still solid, including the bottom. We lightly cloth cleaned this piece with diluted Murphy\'s Wood Soap and added a light coat of Van\'s Organic Bees Wax to the outside panels to ensure the wood was hydrated as best as possible.No repairs or any other type of reconditioning by us. Overall approximate dimensions are 17 3/4\" x 13\" and 11 1/4\" tall. Please see all photographs for dimensions, condition and design. Click on each for a larger, expanded view.
