I bought this from Frank back in 2010 or 2011, during one of my visits to the Four Corners National Monument. He was an amazing personality and could talk for hours and hours. He was adept at several mediums, including ink and water color. He was a well known, and a very respected business man and artist. He truly will be sorely missed. RIP Frank 4/10/38 - 3/2/17
We have quite a few of his other works. But, I am only keeping several of my most favorite. We only have so much wall space. Hence the sale of some of his works. Better to pass them on for others to enjoy.
This particular work is done in ink, ballpoint pen, to be specific. It is untitled, although it is part of the \"Monument Valley Series\" he did in 2008 - 10. If I recall correctly, this Butte (view of this butte) is behind West & East Mitten Butte (as seen from the Utah Side). It is signed, as he is better known, Bahah Zhonie. His Navajo name meaning \"Laughing Boy\" It is matted and measures 7 1/8 \" wide x 10 1/4\" high approx. The matting is black colored, and is about 2\" around the sides. Making the overall dimensions 11\" x 14\" approx.
