Badass Blades Handmade D2 Steel 33" Heavy Medieval Sword Walnut Handle- BA461.This beautiful sword was 100% hand forged. This awesome handmade sword is 33.0" long, with a 25.0" blade made of D2 Tool Steel. D2 Tool Steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium, air-hardened tool steel that's characterized by a relatively high attainable hardness and numerous, large, chromium-rich alloy carofferes in the steel. Because D2 provides an effective combination of wear resistance and toughness, it has excellent edge retention. This blade has a Rockwell hardness of 58-60HRC, and is 5.25MM thick. The blade was professionally sharpened at 25 degrees resulting in extremely sharp and durable edges. This double edged sword is sharp from the hilt to the point. The handle is made of walnut wood and Damascus steel. This is a brand new sword, and includes a custom handmade leather sheath.We made three of these swords. Although they are identical designs, there might be slight differences in the grain of the wood and/or the Damascus patterns.
