For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 1957 Zippo Lighter with advertising for Johnston Mills Company Charlotte, NC.
The lighter comes with the candy stripe box. The corners of the top box cover have all been separated but all pieces are there.
The lighter has no flint or fuild. The insert is a Zippo branded type. The chimney is an 8 hole type. The hinge is a \"5 barrel\" type.
The base is stamped with, BRADFORD, PA ZIPPO and the Circa 11950 to 1957 date code with the 4 dots on each side of the Zippo and Pat. 2517191 Pat. Pend. stamping.
There are no dings or dents. The lighter has been fired/lit but appears to be in very good condition.
