EVA HISTIA (1914-2005) was a member of the Roadrunner Clan at Acoma Pueblo. She was an active potter as early as 1922. She was still an active potter as late as 1991 and perhaps later. She was the daughter of Helice Vallo and mother of Hilda Antonio, Rose Torivio, and Ida Ortiz. She was the grandmother of Mary J. Garcia and Lavine Torivio. SIZE: It measures approx. 9 1/4 by 12 1/2 +/- inches at the widest / longest points.
CONDITION: Excellent with sigss of use and age oncluding tiny firing \"pops\" in several places. It also appears that one iof the lugs has been repaired.
