Hand Made East Indian Rosewood Stanley Plane Tote & Knob for Stanley and Bedrock Planes

The original Stanley\'s were made from Brazilian rosewood which is cites 1 listed and prohibitively hard to get and extremely expensive. East Indian rosewood is, while still expensive, is a close alternative. It is just as hard and the color is a close match, in my opinion.

I hand make these from solid wood. The photos are a representation and not the exact pieces.
