Erzgebirge Music Box. Vintage Circa 1975:

This piece was made in the Erzgebirge area of East Germany, circa 1975. The hand carved piece depicts a scene similar to something from Snow White & The 7 Dwarves, but with a gingerbread house background. The top half of the piece with the dwarves and the gingerbread house rotates while the musical movement is playing. The base of the piece contains a Swiss made 1 tune 18 note Thorens musical movement. Beautiful Vintage piece.
