I’m not exactly sure why Filson decided to grade these knives Factory Seconds. The pictures included in this sale are of the first knife I took out of the box. I opened several more boxes to see what the issue was if any and I honestly haven’t been able to find any. That doesn’t mean they might not have a blemish or something minute keeping them from being Factory Firsts but I didn’t see any issues. I’m personally keeping several of these knives to give my son, brother, friends and myself.

Additionally, in a couple pictures you can see something dark or discolored on the blade. What your seeing is just the factory oil that was applied and hasn’t been taken off.
