First World War autograph book and drawings. Not clear who owned the book but there are lots of poems/ditties written by Shilling family members.
One of framed pictures bottom left first picture, appears to be signed M.Eley and dated 8th of August 1917, with title 'MEMORIES' and also to the top of the picture reads ' one of the Faversham lads'. On the back of this picture is a rough sketch of an house, also attached in frame is a second picture titled ' old Bill' and signed J. Shilling The second framed picture reads' DON'T TEASE Bill - 'AND IT OVER QUICK'. This is signed with the name Shilling but no date. In frame is another attached inscription from Sgt F Neville of the Northampton Regiment. Framed pictures came from autograph book.
Picture of lady, loose, appears to be signed G.S.Thomson, RFC. There are also a couple more army personnel signed poems and also signatures from people at the Ford Dairy, Uffacombe, Devon.
There are about 32 pages with poems or ditties from 1915 -17; 5 pages in book with drawings (not including those framed); and and about 3 pages when some people wrote in 1950. The rest of pages are blank.
