1930s / 1940s Antique Royal Winton GRIMWADES "Libya" Dining / Serveware Incomplete Set of 36 pieces
You are offerding on a RARE and beautiful antique Royal Winton breakfast / lunch / dinner / dessert / tea / coffee / serviceware set. The name of the set is "Libya" which features floral designs and ribbons in rose, green and gold. A very classy and refined set that looks absolutely gorgeous in a table setting.
I am unsure of the year of manufacture of this set, but based on the marks it should be between c. 1934 - 1950.
Condition is as seen in the photos. Each piece is beautiful, bright and clean with no major chips or staining. There is some edge wear as you can see on the gold rims but this set has seen very little actual use and this could be just handling / shelf wear. There is crazing on the glaze finish on all of the pieces, to various degrees. Because of this, it may not be recommended to eat / drink from this antique china but this would make for a beautiful display set, or you could upcycle the pieces to make gorgeous handmade crafts, jewelry dishes etc.
