Lovely Lane era Charatan\'s pipe, \"Distinction\" series. Medium size straight Dublin with a wide flat bottom so its a comfortable sitter. Smaller chamber size, thick chamber walls. This pipe is intented for a quicker smoke, around half an hour session. Lovely tone of brown stain in smooth finish reveals beautiful straight grain. There\'s a lot of it, it covers almost the entire bowl. Shank is muscular and thick. On right side, there\'s the \"Made by hand in the city of London\" stamp, on upper side, there\'s the Lane era \"L\" in circle. Tapered vulcanite stem, unfiltered. Notice the slightly faded logo on it. There is minor scratching on flat bottom and a single space where barely visible scuffing is visible, on left side of the bowl. Pipe is unfiltered and was very lightly smoked. High grade, coming from most collectible era, in awesome condition, it\'s a very sweet find.Our limited edition, luxurious velvet sleeve comes included with the pipe.
