Founded in 1926 in the “Roaring Twenty’s “in a time of endless prosperity, Jackson Bell marketed numerous models that were known by the grill. In example: the iconic Walt Disney’s “PeterPan” and other trendy models like the “Swan and “Tulip”. When you think of Californian radio industry you think of Jackson Bell. It is their geographic location that gave them a sales advantage over Eastern based companies that could not possible compete with a Californian base company simply because shipping costs were cost prohibitive.This is the reason why Jackson Bell’s success became so wide spread in their region. It is well known that Jackson Bell the most successful brand name had other competing names built by Gilfillan Brother Radio such as: Mellotone;Trumpet - Tone; Los Angeles; however, all these brands were marketed by the manufacturer Gilfillan Brother Radio Works. This company had a full product line producing cathedrals; tombstones; tabletop, and clock radios for JacksonBell. This business relationship lasted until 1933 when Jackson Bell went into receivership.

2) Original knobs

3) Original speaker

4) Original grill cloth

5) The chassis is unrestored and so is the clock, therefore cannot guarantee product

6) Clock needs to be replaced or repaired

7) The cabinet measures: 64\" High x 19\" Wide x 13 1/2\" Deep
