Lefton Chirping Red Cardinal Figurine 7\" KW7229 Porcelain with Label For Sale

This 7\" Lefton redcardinal is sitting on a branch with delicate pretty white flowers. The unusual thing about this piece is that ifyou turn it on underneath it will make a chirping sound. This requires a 9 volt battery. Everything works and is in good conditionexcept that the very top of the bird’s head has two spots where the paint didnot cover well. The tail also has twosimilar spots. They are smooth to thetouch so they are not chips and perhaps they could be retouched with a small amount of paint. There isalso one leaf that looks as if it has been mended, but you have to look closely to see it. The figurine is numbered KW7229 and still hasa Lefton label.
