DESCRIPTION:Originally realized by the well-known Latin American/Caribbean Modernist artist Manuel Carbonell (1918 to 2011) this sepia brown with gold gilt flake painted plaster, monumental, very large, 23 3/4\" in height figurative sculpture on teak tropical hardwood plinth block base, was subsequently reproduced by Austin Productions in 1963, after the artist\'s original sculptural work.Signed underneath left foot of mother, \'Austin Productions, 1963.\'One side of the sepia brown painted plaster figures appears to have more gilt infused in the brown paint, compared to the other side of the figures, that has less gold gilt metallic flakes and more sepia brown paint.Estate fresh and new to the marketplace. In splendid, very well-preserved condition, with only one previous owner.
CONDITION:Very Good to Excellent overall vintage condition.
