A nice National Pickle & Canning Co Chicago antique advertising stoneware jug over 110 years old with its original wire handle with wood grip.....NATIONAL PICKLE & CANNING CO. CHICAGO,ILL. in black underglaze print inside square on front....VOLUME 1 GALLON at base below the square....White glaze stoneware jug....original wire handle anchored into a pair of raised \"ears\" on shoulder...8 1/2\"tall...Excellent condition with only a pair of small shallow chips at base. No other damage. Wire handle has original wood grip. This jug dates from the 1890s or early 1900 era...fairly scarce!.....
