These golf ball to fist sized nuggets of wintergreen, gemmy green, and emerald green turquoise, mined decades ago, finds trace to the 1950s! Mined in Mojave County, Arizona, back in the 1950s to 1960s by LW Hardy, who stacked the tailings with all the greens and turquoise coloured specimens! He thought them useless, but carefully saved them. These nugs are gorgeous. Good thing he saved them. This is a Super Grade choice! Best specimen grade! (4 Lbs.) This lot is "Get what you see!" The Kingman turquoise sent to the University with the ancient tools, was geologically matched to turquoise found in ancient Aztec ruins in Mexico!
