Paper Nautilus shell Argonauta Nouryi from Baja Mexico RARE 3.5\" For Sale

This shell is a very rare Argonauta nouryi which came from astranding in the Sea of Cortez in Baja, California, This shell can beidentified by its elongate shape, white or cream color with the oldesttubercles having a brownish pigmentation. The surface of the shell is verysmooth and has a large number of underdeveloped ribs. This particular shell isabout3.5\" long and 1.5\" high. The shell that is pictured is theone that you will receive. Shells, like people, are all different. This shellis intact with no holes. There is slight chipping on the backside. Because it is so fragile and often broken on arrivalat the beaches,there are few good examples available.
