FINE 1920s SWISS SILVER & BRONZE DOMICAL DESK / PAPERWEIGHT CLOCKRARELY ENCOUNTERED FORM - MAGNIFICENT DIAL UNDER THICK BEVELED CRYSTALA prized clock from my personal collection. Time has come for these horological gems to find new homes. Swiss desk, travel and alarm clocks from the turn-of-the-century through the 1980s comprise a significant category of meritorious timepieces I\'ve curated. Yes; that\'s Doug setting the time to welcome 1974. Tempus Fugit!The heavy bronze case with heart-shape strut has a decoratively machined rear rim. It can be displayed upright at convenient viewing angle or dial-up as a paperweight. The plain polished silver jacket terminates at a molded bezel with reeded rim set with convex beveled crystal. The pure white dial with oversize sunk seconds has bold black Roman numerals within a chapter ring with minute indicies and diamond markers. Blued steel whip, spade and delicate seconds hands are easily read at a distance.Fixed key wind and set knob, sliding cover to access regulating arm. Quality 30-hour movement with jeweled lever escapement
NOTE:I have not serviced the movement. However, the timepiece is in good operating order holding reasonable time.
