A bit about this pipe ~ A lightly smoked and very hard to find Linea Piu #5. Slight discoloration on rim (priced accordingly) ~ In 1876 Achille Savinelli opened one of the first shops exclusively focused on tobacco and smoking accessories.He soon began designing his own pipes and arranged their manufacture by local pipe makers in the Varese district of north-west Italy. The pipes became so popular that some were exhibited at the 1881 Italian Industrial Exposition, the precursor to today’s Milan Fair, one of the largest trade fairs in the world.Savinelli to this day has proudly established and maintained a new precedent for Italian pipe making.
