STUNNING ATQ 1850s/60s Tintype Photo Union Case Beautiful Woman Cameo Drop Earrings
Very well kept tintype image!
Lovely young woman, beautifully dressed and wearing cameo drop earrings.
Comes in a Union case inside front has a red, embossed fabric. Front and back covers are separated, as shown. Latch present and functional.
There is writing on inside back cover which I can’t decipher.
Very nice, detailed, coppery metal framing around image. Some spots of green oxidation.
Tintype is very clean and image is sharp.
Some tinting on her cheeks.
Case measures 2-7/8” x 2-5/8”.

A beautiful, Civil War-era photo that may have been carried in the pocket of a soldier.
