The C51 Rookie hit the streets in 1998 as a mini-sized version of the original Spyderco Police Model developed for those who prefer to carry a smaller knife. The C51S Rookie packs incredible cutting power in a comfortable, smaller-sized folder. The Rookie’s handle and blade are nearly equal in length giving the knife an overall balanced feeling.
Knife is brand new old stock, never opened or handled except to take these pictures (literally opened once for pictures). There is some dried oil on the handle, and blade pivot. Wiping down and oiling is left to the new owner. Brand new 25 year old knife.
