"Summertime" is an Alberto Vargas print featured on a 1938 Art Deco style calendar. Alberto Vargas (1896-1982) was a Peruvian-American painter of pin-up girls, and is regarded as one if the finest artists in his genre. He completed two commissioned calendar works for Jospeh C. Hoover & Sons Company, one of which is "Summertime".
"Summertime" is 10" x 16.75" in calendar size and 7.75" x 9.75" in image size. It is in fair condition with creases, tears, paper loss, soiling and some writing. The 1938 calendar pad is complete. Please use the included photos as a condition guide.
