Those swords are hand forged and hand sharpened using Japanese methods to create a perfect blade. Fully functional and battle ready. The accessories of the swords are all authentic from the ray skin handle, to silk sage-o and nice fittings. This is the best sword you will find in the price range.Materials And Way Of Forge: 1.Blades: The blades of the swords have been hand forged using the ancient method of sword making. Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened.
The blades were made of 1095 high carbon steel with Clay tempered, and they have been laminated in a Maru style. he tip of the blades are Chu Kissaki (medium length).This blades have been hand polished with multiple grade sharpen stone by Japanese method, which made the surface of the blades like a mirror, the blades are also very sharp.
This blades comes with a full length Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. this sword is strong enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper.
2.Tsubas: The Tsuba (guard) of the sword are made of Brass. The Habiki (blade collar) is a one piece brass construction. Two Seppas (spacer) secure the Tsuba.
3.Tsukas: The Tsukas (handle) core are wooden and they are tightly wrapped over genuine Ray skin with Sageo Ito. The Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) are made of Brass. The Tang of the swords are secured by two Mekugi (peg). Two alloyed Menuki (ornament) are on each side of the Tsuka.
4.Sayas: The saya (sheath) of the sword are hard wooden inlay Shell pattern, A cord Sage-O has been tied around the bright copper Kurigaga (knob) of the scabbard. the Koiguchi has been hardened.
