Combat steel helmet of the WWll Polish army, Wz31. It was manufactured at the Polish metallurgical plant Huta Ludwikow during the period from 1935 to 1939. By the beginning of World War II, only 300 thousand copies of this helmet were supplied for the needs of the Polish army. This helmet was found at the site of defensive battles between the Polish army and the German Wehrmacht in mid-September 1939. The metal is strong, partially preserving the original \"Salamander\" color with the ink-stamped manufacturer\'s mark and the year of production - April 1939. The helmet is partially restored, the iron is solid, the manufacturer stamp is original.
