This is a fabulous rare French torty marbled celluloid compact with engraved and handpainted art deco black woman on the lid, designed by Antonin (not signed). Inside the mirror is good and there is a thin orange celluloid screen, but no puff. Compact is 2-3/4\" across octagon shape. The fittings are brass. No marks, guaranteed purchased in Paris from old unused stock. The image on lid has been handpainted in silver and gold with a drop of pink on her lips. Celluloid front and back of compact all good, no cracks or chips. Very small signs that old, although never used or damaged. GUARANTEE ALL MY MERCHANDISE IS ALWAYS 100% AUTHENTIC.
