View Larger Image   Russell Brothers Socket Firmer Chisel 1/2 inch   Description: This is a nice clean, used, antique flat firmer style wood chisel with the socket type handle. The width is 1/2" x 12.5" long overall. It is marked "RUSSELL BROTHERS NEW YORK" on the steel, and they are believed to be in business in the mid-1800's. The steel is in great shape, no rust, very sharp. The handle is very solid, with the leather wrapped end, in very good shape overall, fits the socket well. Both the steel and the wood are in great shape overall.
