Joseph Gales, Jr (b. 10 April 1786, Eckington, England; d. 21 July 1860, Washington, DC) & William Winston Seaton (b. 11 Jan 1785, King William County, VA; d. 16 June 1866, Washington, DC). Gales was a Senate reporter and Seaton reported on the House of Representatives.
Dr Hastings William Stackhouse (b. 8 Jan 1808, Savannah, GA; d. 28 Sept 1887, probably in Copiah County, MS), a plantation owner.The National Intelligencer newspaper was published in Washington, D.C. from about 1800 until 1870. Until 1810 it was named the National intelligencer, and Washington advertiser.
