1910-1915 Checkers Popcorn Confection Advertising Die-Cut Cardboard Store Sign For Sale

This is a very early original cardboard die-cut advertising store sign for Shotwell\'s Checkers Popcorn Confection. I was giving it a conservative date of 1910 to 1915, but I have a feeling it\'s quite a bit earlier than that. It has been professionally framed, and I assume the back is blank because my friend, who owned the entire collection, typically used double-sided glass for items with writing on the reverse side.The die-cut measures 13.5\" x 10.5\" and shows two Victorian-era children enjoying Checkers popcorn, with toy prizes displayed on the table. In the bottom right corner, it reads, \"Shotwell Mfg. Co. Makers Chicago Edwards & Deutsch Litho Co., Chicago.\" There is a little bit of creasing and corner damage, but it is an almost impossible Checkers sign to find. It could be restored to improve its appearance, but I appreciate its current condition, as it likely hung on a wall in an old grocery store.I am going to leave it in its original frame for shipping.
