1930s PYREX/SILEX Double Bubble Vacuum Siphon Glass Coffee Pot - No Lid For Sale

For sale is Silex \"Double Bubble\" vacuum (siphon) coffee pot from the late 1930s. Silex parts were made from thermal-shock-resistant Pyrex and consisted of two Pyrex glass globes stacked together. Vacuum coffee pots rely on vapor pressure and a vacuum effect to brew ground coffee. Both items are in good condition considering their age. The Bakelite on the glass Silex pot has a crack and the rubber around the bulbous has cracks/wear. There are some tiny marks on the glass. Considering it is almost 100 years old, the coffee pot has aged well. I have attached pictures of the imperfections for your examination.Key Details & Identification
