This lighter consists simply of a cylindrical case of sheet metal, with base piece and cover attached with the aid of bolted-through rods. In the interior of the cylinder is placed a cell of primary battery, which is set in action by pressing down the center rod seen projecting from the top of the cover.The exterior is nickel-plated and \"highly ornamental, and will take a prominent place among the bric-a-brac of Reception Rooms, Parlors, etc. This Battery can also be used for Medical and Call-Bell purposes.\".Paper very clean, slight wear along edges.
