A sharp, battle-ready Crane-model Japanese katana with a heat tempered 1095 high carbon steel blade, full tang construction and a genuine ray skin handle. Suitable for collection, display, martial arts and Tameshigiri practice where permitted by local law.
Display stand included — the one shown in the Package Includes photo below. This set comes with our 2-tier table stand (SKU 246): a matte black lacquer finish (not glossy piano lacquer), gold Bushido (武士道) kanji on the base, and red felt on each arch to cushion the saya. The second tier leaves room to add a wakizashi later. It slots together in seconds, so the katana is ready to display on a desk, shelf or cabinet the day it arrives. Approx. 15.7 x 9.8 x 2.5 inches.

Suited to light Tameshigiri targets such as rolled tatami omote, soft mats and water-filled bottles, where permitted by local law. Not intended for hard targets such as metal, stone or seasoned hardwood. Wipe the blade clean and apply a light coat of sword oil after handling to protect the finish.
