Lot of 2 vintage Bruno\'s Pen & Pencil restaurant matchbooks from New York City.
Pen & Pencil was a well-known Manhattan steakhouse associated with New York\'s historic East 45th Street \"Steak Row.\" These matchbooks feature the Bruno P&P crest, the old MUrray Hill 2-8660 telephone exchange and advertising quoting Gourmet Magazine, Esquire Magazine and columnist Bert Bacharach.
Both matchbooks retain their matches. The matches appear unstruck. Covers show light age and storage wear, including minor edge and fold wear, but overall present very nicely for their age.
