View Larger Image   Ginger Jar, Terra Cotta, Oriental, Elephant Handles   Description: A vintage terra cotta ginger jar that stands 6 in. tall. In very good, usable, displayable condition. There are unique elephant head shaped handles on either side. One side is decorated with a horned or antlered animal and the other has what appears to be a woman seated near a window? These images appear to perhaps be carved and polished smooth. I'm not an expert at this type of item so can only describe as I see it. Makers oriental mark near the bottom on the side and I believe it is an artist signature in Oriental writing on the other side. Can't get a clear image of it.
