This catalog is illustrated, and has in depth descriptions of each of the tools and machines Union manufactured in 1950, including milling cutters, end mills, gear cutters, twist drills, reamers, carbide tools, and machine tools. There is several chapters and pages covering instruction, and calculations for use and sharpening of tools, many charts, and tables for machining applications, and proper use of these tools. Union also lists machinery they manufactured, like form cutter grinding machines, hob grinder, circular grinder, and various inspection fixtures to go along with sharpening and shaping cutters. This catalog has 384 pages, and comes with a discount price pamphlet from 1950 also. The catalog is 5" x 8', hard cover with attractive gold and black pressed highlights on the cover. It's in very good condition with a few minor corner bumps, very little cover wear, good clean pages, and spine cover and binding all in great shape!
