It is marked "THE LUFKIN RULE COMPANY SAGINAW U.S.A.". When fully unfolded it measures 36 long. It is thinner and more narrow than the much more common No. 1173 model, only .019" thich steel x .37" wide, yet still strong with very good joints. No rust, no damage, some darkening on the steel, and just a few small areas of very minor pitting noted.
